Two siblings who \nhave been running the family business \nsince 2004. Our \nfather started working marble when he was \njust a boy, and we too learnt words like \nmarble and travertine early on, we gained \nexperience in quarries and learnt about \ntools for quarrying and the subsequent \nprocessing.\n \nOurs is a demanding job, in which fatigue, \nheat and cold are part of everyday life.  \nBut this is not a burden to us because our \ndrive is made up of energy, of the desire to \npreserve the spirit of craftsmanship that we \ninherited from our father, the same spirit that \nwe pass on to our children day after day. \nWith the passing of time, the need grew within \nus to create a more exclusive, more defined, \nmore contemporary product that would \nmove away from the deep-rooted idea of \nthe ‘heaviness’ of the marble furnishing \nelement, but that would be a beautiful design \nobject regardless, where the marble, the \nmaterial, could give a strong signal of added \nvalue. Carrara White is both a specific and \na generic term. In the first case, this name \nrefers to the white marble par excellence, a \nmaterial with excellent qualities, which have \nmade it known throughout the world and of \nwhich one can admire a shining example in \nthe monuments that stand out in Piazza dei \nMiracoli in Pisa. But we also refer to Bianco di \nCarrara to define all the highly prised types \nof white that are extracted from the same \nmountains: Bianco Calacatta, Michelangelo, \nStatuario and others. Marble, like Roman \nTravertine, has always accompanied our \nhistory. This material as imperfect as it is \nunique that nature has lent us. Lenzi uses \nonly first choice marbles and travertine \nselected directly by Simone Lenzi in the best \nquarries.
