Thanks to precision grinding, \ncrystal gives Laudarte the ability to create fine \ngeometries and personalized shapes.\nMURANO GLASS\nIn this centuries-old Venetian tradition, soda is \nadded to glass paste to allow melting at lower \ntemperatures. In this way, the glass remains \nductile for longer, giving expert Murano artisans \nthe time to create unique, elaborate shapes.\nGLASS PASTE\nIt is one of the oldest known forms of glass \nworking, appearing in Mesopotamia and ancient \nEgypt around 1,500 B.C.E. It flourished again \nbetween the 19th and 20th centuries in Europe, \nespecially France. Laudarte uses glass paste to \ncreate the distinct chromatic effect of colors as \nan integral part of the glass matrix.\nBRASS\nBrass is an oxidizable alloy made of copper \nand zinc with very high workability: its unique \nreaction to oxygen makes it one-of-a-kind, \nwith shades ranging from the brightest to the \nmost opaque. Brass’s elegant and measured \naesthetic effect made it the metal of choice for \nearly twentieth-century designers, especially \nwhen combined with glass and wood.\nBRONZE CASTING\nWith thousands of years of tradition, the \ncasting of bronze with the “cire perdue” and \n“sand casting” techniques flourished over \nthe centuries, especially in Greek and Roman \nart and monumental sculpture. Many \nof Laudarte’s most historic creations feature \nmarble combined with bronze casting.\nCAPODIMONTE PORCELAIN\nThe fame of this refined porcelain from Naples \nhas grown continually since the end of the \n18th century. Nelle creazioni \nLaudarte, le superfici dei componenti sono poi \ntrattate individualmente creando effetti lucidi, \nopachi o satinati sulle forme.\nLAPISLAZZULI\nIl lapislazzuli è stato utilizzato fin dai tempi \nantichi, in particolare dagli Egizi, come \nsimbolo di regalità e spiritualità. Il suo aspetto \nstraordinario e la sua rarità lo hanno reso un \nmateriale ricercato per l’arte e la decorazione \nnel corso della storia.
