What motivated the desire to \nevoke the notion of travel within this project?\nI have consistently regarded myself as a “traveler before a \ndesigner.” I am an avid voyager, driven by a profound love \nfor exploring the world, encountering diverse cultures, and \nengaging with disparate realities. Conveying the essence \nof travel within the Plaza Collection project has, therefore, \nalso assumed a deeply emotional dimension for me—a \nsummons to recollections of the locales that have served as \nmy wellspring of inspiration. Indeed, within the collection, \neach individual product’s conceptual genesis is rooted in \nspecific European squares that hold a prominent place in \nthe collective imagination.\nIs it apt to assert that the Plaza Collection stands as \na singular assemblage, comprised of elements so \ninherently distinctive that they can seamlessly grace \nsettings characterized by elegance and cosmopolitanism, \nmarked by both minimalism and aristocracy?\nThe furnishings in the collection are aesthetically \nimpeccable while remaining functional and distinctive. \nThey are dynamic and lightweight, yet possess a defining \nessence characterized by forms and finishes that seamlessly \nblend with living spaces, creating new spaces for \ncontemporary social interaction. The sculptural appeal of \nthe Alexander, Trafalgar and Marien tables is combined with \nthe enveloping \nvolumes of the Vendome and Concorde chairs, creating \nconnections with the rigorous geometries of the Mayor \nand Dam cabinets and the refined elegance of the Imperio \nconsoles and desks: a transversal collection, made up of \nheterogeneous yet complementary elements.
