The Matita collection features a slender aluminium profile with a high-efficiency LED mi-
cro-circuit and is part of a family that contains suspension, table, celling, floor, and wall
lamps. The uniqueness of the joints allows the profiles to move freely, creating light so-
lutions that seem to cut the wall into two sections, capable of achieving up to two and
a half meters in height that can redefine the space. The surprising result that Egoluce
accomplished with Matita is the creation of design objects that are functional tools used
to “draw with light” and redefine the environment.
La colección Matita se caracteriza por un fino perfil de aluminio con un microcircuito LED
de alta eficiencia y forma parte de una familia que incluye lámparas colgantes, de mesa,
de pared, de pie y de sobremesa. La singularidad de las juntas permite que los perfiles
se muevan libremente, creando soluciones de iluminación que parecen cortar la pared
en dos secciones, capaces de alcanzar hasta dos metros y medio de altura y redefinir el
espacio. El sorprendente resultado que Egoluce ha conseguido con Matita es la creación
de objetos de diseño que son herramientas funcionales utilizadas para “dibujar con la luz”
y redefinir el entorno.
