The City of Light, Fashion and Design is the ultimate source of
inspiration for every designer and creative mind. During this pe-
riod, Paris hosts some of the most notorious design and lifestyle
events in the world, from its acclaimed Design Week to Maison
et Objet as well as the prestigious route of artistic forms, Paris
Déco Off. Destined to please industry professionals and general
public alike, the 9th edition of the cultural event will start on
January 18th and conclude on the 22nd. It is definitely an occa-
sion not to be missed if one enjoys the fine art of design and the
whimsical ambience of showrooms. Acting as a “rendezvous” be-
tween international interior designers and decoration editors, the
event invites everyone eager to know the latest and best designs,
to a festive environment through the streets of Paris and onto the
most stylish and innovative showrooms. Paris Déco Off allows
individuals to discover the world’s most outstanding fabric col-
lections, home accessories and furniture designs.
Furthermore, one of thematics that will be at the heart of the
newest edition of Paris Déco Off will be Colour. The conference
regarding this theme will be led by Jean-Gabriel Causse, author
of the novel Les Crayons de couleurs (“Colouring Pencils”), and
held at l’Hôtel de l’Industrie. This edition will also be marked by
the inaugural Paris Déco Off auction at the Drouot house. Here
unique, limited-edition objects from the participants’ collections
will be put up for auction.
This year, design aficionados can expect to see the brilliant work
of more than one hundred of luxury brands, including the likes of
Aldeco, Casamance, Cole & Son, Designers Guild, Elitis, Gaston
y Daniela, Hermès, Houlès, James Hare, Kravet, Lelièvre, Parsua,
Pierre Frey, Pouenat, Ralph Lauren Home, and Rubelli.
