Cofoco’s 14 very different restaurants in Copenhagen are a
wonderful and very sociable experience. It is a good idea to
book a table well in advance, and there may be restrictions,
for an example large groups sometimes must order the same
menu. The Copenhagen Food Consultancy group that in-
cludes Les Trois Cochons, Oysters & Grill and Höst, it’s been
an unprecedented success from the start. And although the
concept of Restaurant Cofoco has been heavily replicated by
themselves and copied by others, the original remains the fa-
vourite of the lot for many. That concept is one of fine but
wallet-friendly gastronomy served up in pleasant surround-
ings, achieved by cutting any cost that won’t compromise
the food quality. That means multiple dinner settings, oc-
casionally shared tables, friendly but minimal service, and a
carefully edited menu for scale, and, in this case, all the dishes
coming in starter-sized portions. It’s the perfect place to meet
new people and join the city’s spirit. It’s the perfect spot to
mix, match, and get friendly with your neighbouring diners.
