LE V, VERNET
PARIS, FRANCE
Under its monumental stained glass dome designed by the fa-
mous Gustave Eiffel, The V Restaurant, from The Vernet Hotel,
is a space that can awaken all our senses. Located in a sumptuous
Parisian building, truly “Haussmann” style, with a nearly perfect
location between the Golden Triangle of Paris and the Place de
l’Etoile on the Champs-Elysées, it is possible to identify a com-
pletely contemporary look created by the designer of interiors
François Champsaur. With a century of history, the harmonious
interior seeks to pay homage to the Parisian elegance and the
French craftsmanship from which it is impossible to look away.
The kitchen is available for the more curious, with a large win-
dow that gives access to the room, glimpsing the discreet process
of creating each dish. Around the room, we are drawn to the
original and contemporary works of art that adorn it, with the
feeling that we are in a space of a true lover of art. All this, mixed
with the palate of each of the dishes that make up the menu,
create an absolutely addictive junction.
In each one, you can see the origin and quality of each of the
ingredients used, even for the most demanding palates. They are
absolutely innovative combinations of exquisite flavours rein-
vented to rediscover the best of traditional French and interna-
tional cuisine. If we leaf through the menu, the offers are very
appealing to our senses. For starters, The Foie Gras marinated
with Porto, fried fig and home-made bread is a perfect choice. As
the main course, one can challenge senses with The Deer’s Back,
roasted in cocoa nibs, artichoke and roasted salsify in horseradish
butter. If you prefer fish, the Risotto Carnaroli will make your
delights, among other amazing choices. As a dessert, the soft yet
tasty Pavlova, with seasonal fruits, lemon cream and red fruits ice
cream or The Peach, with panacotta, compote and fresh peach.
For all of the above, this tasteful restaurant made its way as a
member of Design Restaurants. For anyone who visits Paris, the
Le V is the obvious choice!
