When you are walking through Paris streets, it’s impossible not to
notice the display windows, almost shouting fashion standards.
And if you choose to take a promenade near Opéra, you’ll be sur-
prised to find Edouard VII, an exquisite reference in what concerns
Parisian stylish hotels. As soon as you take the first steps inside the
hotel, you are immediately aware of the bold decoration in a mix of
nineteenth-century style with contemporary elements.
As a matter of fact, the entire theme is about ‘Couture’, an artis-
tic concept that evokes the quality fashion. It’s not surprising to
discover that each setting was projected as if it was a mannequin
to be elegantly dressed, considering Edward VII’s personality, life,
history, travels, loves and lovers. Usually people aren’t aware about
the grandiosity of the building: it is composed by 42 bedrooms, oc-
cupying the first four floors of the hotel. Among them, we highlight
the 13 superior bedrooms, as well as the 14 Deluxe bedrooms and
the two suites, followed by an elegant junior suite.
It’s also surprising to know that each floor represents a precious
stone: as the first represents sapphire (shades of blue) the second
represents emerald (nuances of green), the third ruby (shades of red
and deep pink) and the fourth citrine, with lots of yellow.
