Baccarat Tea Experience sets apart from other tea experiences
by having their own Tea Sommelier, Gabrielle Jammal which
offers guests a unique immersion in the fine art of tea through
an exclusive partnership with Mariage Frères. Gabrielle Jammal is
certified as a tea sommelier with the International Tea Master’s
Association, her passion for tea can relate to her family heritage,
by her mother´s English roots and her father´s Middle Eastern
ancestry, this prompted her to develop an interest in organics and
wellness as well as having a better understanding of the role that
tea plays in this desired lifestyle.

The exclusive mixes and blends of the renown French Mariages
Frères are just perfect for tea lovers. The choice of teas are the À
L´Opera and Earl Grey D´or, both are delicious but also consider
the Earl Grey D´or which is simply superb.
The Champagne choice was Ruinart Champagne Brut Rosé NV
served in the signature Baccarat fluted glasses.
The presentation is just stunning, everything tasted fresh and
delicious, especially the Savories. Baccarat achieved a good balance
in between courses.
After the tea experience, we had a guided visit through the other
areas of the hotel, visiting the Petit Salon’s smoked oak walls
and emerald green velvet seating allowed guests to enjoy a more
private and tranquil environment. In addition, we visit the darkly
opulent 60-foot bar that features crimson velvets, dark leathers as
well as a black-and-white checked floor inspired by the stables at
Château de Versailles and boasts a dramatic barrel-vaulted ceiling,
three monumental chandeliers and tracked stage. Beyond the bar,
oversized French doors lead to the hotel’s beautiful landscaped
terrace, dotted with topiaries and comfortable seating overlooking
MoMA. The hotel´s art collection is assembled by the French
curators Stéphanie and Frédéric Chambre, which includes works
from important movements over the two hundred and fifty years
since Baccarat’s foundation. Commissioned original art and one-
of-a-kind furniture from renowned French artists Francois Houtin
and Armand Jonckers can also be found throughout the hotel.
The Hotel features the first ever La Mer Spa in the United States,
