The excellent food at reasonable prices
makes Spisestedet Feed one of the
favourites places in Copenhagen
The atmosphere in Feed is hearty, open and energetic. The raw
wooden tables combined with a modern style with a cosy feeling
makes this the perfect spot for an intimate and quiet dinner. The
dishes, cooked with passion using only high-quality ingredients,
are an enjoyable surprise. Despite their young age, the chefs
Jacob and Christopher, only in their 20s, have a lot of experience
in the restaurant industry. After serving in several places, Jacob
has been in Australia and Canada for two years working in
high-profile restaurants. Christopher took a trip to Asia. In the
summer of 2015, they took the inspiration and the experiences
from those countries and open their own restaurant: Spisestedet
Feed was born. The three-course dishes changes every week. As
a starter, the tasting platter allows the customer to taste several
small dishes such as the salmon tasting with beetroot/blueberry
cured salmon, salmon tartar with apple, dijon and trout roe, rye
bread croutons and homemade crème fraîche; the beef tenderloin
carpaccio with truffle aioli, parmesan crostinis and arugula; the
simple but delicious stuffed mushrooms with goat cheese, aged
parma ham and parsley on a dijon aioli; or the fresh baked focaccia
bread with smoked scamorza cheese and tomato bruschetta. As
main dishes, the Pan Seared Duck Breast with celeriac purée,
mashed potatoes, red wine sauce and sautéed vegetables or the
Grilled Entrecôte, a grilled Danish beef entrecôte with burnt carrot
purée, mashed potatoes, red wine sauce and sautéed vegetables,
are also great choices. The dessert tasting is the cherry on top of
all offering several small and sweet courses, such as the cheesecake
with gingerbread crust, made with homemade crème fraîche and
organic creme cheese; the apple crumble with two apple purées also
with the crème fraîche; or the modern banana split, a chocolate
brownie with hazelnuts and banana parfait. The excellent food
at reasonable prices makes Spisestedet Feed one of the favourites
places in Copenhagen, attracting many visitors to the restaurant.
Guests should, therefore, reserve a table to enjoy this amazing
experience and the perfect service provided by the friendly staff.
