Upon entering the hotel, we were submerged into an unparalleled
world of luxury, from the richness of the materials to the vibrant
colours, to the original marble floor, to the white columns and
arches, as well as the superb art works, all answerable for the
unique and refined touch to Vernet. We felt like each design and
space had their own narrative and we were simply mesmerised
by them. It became quite evident that the design of the hotel was
the result of brilliant minds who firmly believe in anchoring the
beauties of modernity while keeping the French splendour and
tradition very much alive.
The bedrooms at the Hotel Vernet are devoted entirely to provide
comfort and discreet luxury as well as that deep sense of well-being
and intimacy. Creating a warmth environment, wood was the
dominant material utilised yet improved by a cluster of smooth
features, from an outstanding selection of fabrics to organic cotton
curtains from Pierre Frey. The bathrooms are an absolute luxurious
delight and one could see that a lot of effort went into its design,
since it almost felt like we were in a spa with all the astonishing
features, such as the stunning glass mosaics and the Carrara
marble washbasins. We were so thrilled by the sparkling and
private ambience of the bar, especially in the copper and marble
details used to evoke a sense of elegance. In addition, the fresco
mural by Jean-Michel Alberola located on the ceiling leads you into
an ultimate visual journey that offers a multitude of emotions and
experiences. If we left the bar thinking nothing else could surpass
our expectations anymore, we were surprisingly mistaken as we
were stunned by the vast glass roof of the astonishing restaurant.
The exquisite dining venue is surrounded by contemporary works
of arts and the majestic furniture is arranged in a ring disposition.
Our team was even more enthused to have a genuine culinary
experience by being able to observe the kitchen through a wide
glazed panel. In a further thrill, the scrumptious dishes created by
the amazing chef, Richard Robe did not disappoint as our taste
buds were bestowed with a series of flavours and French classics,
including the roasted veal with butter and green pepper, melon
with balsamic vinegar, pan fried mushrooms, which was simply
delicious! Ultimately, a stay at Hotel Vernet will allow one to
pleasure in the most outstanding and relaxing pleasures.
