Calvin Klein
Perhaps one of the most indulging American
brands of fashion, Calvin Klein is famous for is
wide-ranging products that vary from clothing
apparel to accessories, to furnishings and watch-
es and several others. During the trade show, the
prestigious brand presented Calvin Klein Min-
imal characterised by a harmonious and me-
ticulous design as well as understated graphic
lines. This masterwork revisits a grand classic
and adds an, even more, vintage and authentic
touch to the brand’s collection of watches.
Matheny-Tissot
Assembling a selective production of prestige watches and fine craftsmanship,
the Swiss watchmaker was formed by Edmond Matheny-Tissot in late 19th
century. Nowadays, the brand is known for tailoring mechanical timepieces
and quartz movements. At BaselWorld, the brand showcased Elisir Special
Edition, a timeless classicism piece, “Free of any superficial elements, this new
Elisir Special Edition stages a particularly legible display of the time and date,
natural becoming the indispensable companion of today’s man and woman.”
Mido
Georges Schaeren established in 1918 the Jura-based company, Mido. Many of
its pieces are inspired by architecture reflecting the highest levels of function-
ality and authenticity. Moreover, Mido provides trailblazing technical nov-
elties as well as mechanical movements. At the BaselWorld, Mido displayed
the new Baroncelli Caliber 80 Chronometer Si which is characterised by an
inexhaustible charm of refinement featuring a notable 80-hour power reserve.
Catorex
Starting its history and legacy in the 19th cen-
tury due to the talent of Georges Ignace Cattin,
a watchmaker and peasant, Catorex has now
grown into a transfiguring watch manufacture
of six generations, producing the most enticing
watches and pocket ones you will ever encoun-
ter. This becomes quite evident in the brand’s
C’Vintage, a self-winding timepiece that re-
stores an antique movement.
