“We have to think about not only the way
the we buy things, but the way we eat and
dress, the way we breathe, the way we do
and move. There’s a lot of homework to
do. I think there’s a very strong chance of
paradigm, we have to work with our sons
and grandsons to change.”
The designer had the amazing honour of receiving several
international awards, including medals given by the Spanish
Government and Monarchy, however, Urquiola expresses that the
real honours of her career are the bad moments, because that’s what
makes her grow as a professional.
“People ask me if I feel more Spanish or
Italian after over than 30 years here, but I
think that I am 100% Spanish and 100%
Italian, and in the end there’s just one.”
