After being restored in the ‘90s, the Casa do
Passadiço was transformed into a design
studio by Catarina Rosas, Cláudia Soares
Pereira and Catarina Soares Pereira. Their
modern yet functional style is always present
in their interiors, along with the best products
and materials that meet the client’s personal
design vision. The end result is a balanced yet
luxurious space.
Artur Miranda created Oitoemponto in 1993 to
bring innovative design to Portugal. Two years
later, Jacques Bec joined him, bringing his own
very personal French touch from Paris, the City
of Lights. They started working for public and
commercial places but their common taste for
sophisticated and personalized surroundings
soon led them to develop their creativity in
private projects. Among their projects, we
highlight the fantastic Monumental Palace
Hotel in Porto, Portugal and La Maison du
Caviar Restaurant in Paris.
