WORLD’S FINEST RESTAURANTS //
such as Guy Savoy and Joël Robuchon. Ramsay leads the menus of
The Grand Hotel’s restaurant: Le Pressoir d’Argent, a Two-Michelin-
Starred restaurant. Interesting fact: the restaurant gets its name
from the impressive and very rare solid silver lobster press, made
by the famous Parisian luxury flatware brand Christofle: one of the
only five worldwide. This collector’s item is used daily to crush the
shell and carcass of the blue lobster, in order to extract the juices.
A time-honoured ritual that took place in front of our eyes, during
an exquisite dinner. The menu is a hymn to the art of fine dining.
Featuring the superb produce of the region’s culinary heritage, each
course is a mix of freshness, exploding flavours and gourmet artistry
– a feast for all the five senses. The luxury experience is completed
by the knowledgeable staff who not only carefully described each
course but also engaged on satisfying a Fine Dining lover’s curiosity
on the collectable silver lobster press mentioned before and the
region of Bordeaux, well known for its wine tradition.
Le Pressoir d’Argent Gordon Ramsay is managed also by the talented
chef Gilad Peled who shows great respect for the quality of local
produce and runs the staff with an impressive passion. A quick
note to the sublime pastry created by the French pastry chef Arthur
Fèvre who at the young age of 21 was awarded the Dessert d’Or
(The Golden Dessert) of the French Dessert Championship for his
creation entitled “Caramel et citron en fine vagues croustillantes”.
Is your curiosity awakened? Discover Le Pressoir d’Argent by
yourself, it is definitely worth a trip to Bordeaux for the luxury
experience you are going to get.
