way since 1872 when Georges Blanc’s great-grandparents decided
to settle there as soft drink sellers and café owners.
Georges Blanc Parc & Spa was established in 1872 on la Place du
Marché in Vonnas. Since then, it has grown beyond the expectations
of those who first started the Blanc empire. Nowadays, this luxury
village offers numerous rooms, suites and leisure facilities.
Guests can enjoy the gastronomic restaurant Georges Blanc, 3 stars
in the Michelin Guide, and the property’s traditional restaurant
Ancienne Auberge. The former allows guests to experience a
cuisine full of personality, that reflects the chef ’s great character
and sensibility. Together with his family, Blanc constantly
reinvents Bresse specialities through creations such as the “crêpe
vonnassienne” with salmon and caviar or the legendary Bresse
chicken with foie gras that is simply divine! The latter is a true
reflection of the traditional and authentical cuisine that has been
passed on from three generations. Traditional Bresse Poultry with
cream sauce à la Mère Blanc, fresh sautéed Frog Legs the Dombes
way, Pike Quenelles or golden liver cake are some of the most sought-
after dishes in the restaurant, that we absolutely recommend. In
addition, make sure to go to the restaurant’s rustic veranda that
becomes quite enchanting at night due to the exceptional lighting
effects.
For your leisure, you have to experience the Mosaïc Spa. This
will allow you to take some time to rediscover yourself, relax and
spend a few hours enjoying the feeling of total well-being. The
