Specialized in hotel design, Studio Simonetti and its team of
Italian architects and interior designers have more than 40 years in
the business and more than 40 hotel projects. From mid-century
style to industrial design hotels, Studio Simonetti is a mandatory
reference in what concerns luxurious interior design projects that
evoke emotions and passion through every single detail. Splendido
Bay Luxury Spa Resort was no exception since the Italian interior
design firm carried out an amazing work renovating the building,
as well as designing the interiors of the five-star hotel. In the end,
they provided a luxurious hotel that features dazzling mid-century
lamps and some of the most breathtaking views ever.
The main goal of this hotel design project was to transform the
pre-existing holiday village into a luxury resort that is also a place
of “otium”, this is, that brings out the calmness and serenity of its
surrounding area.
Within easy reach of the historic cities of Mantua, Verona and
Brescia, Splendido Bay Luxury Resort has a simple, yet classy
décor, that was inspired by the need to mix contemporary and
unique design pieces with the typically more classic part of luxury
hotels. But let’s start with the dazzling entrance décor, that grabs
everyone’s attention since the very beginning with its natural
light and with the most astonishing mid-century wall fixtures by
DelightFULL. It’s definitely a fancy way to make an entrance in
this hotel, located in one of the most beautiful places across Italy.
With a matte black finish, you can also find two Coltrane wall
lamps near the bar and restaurant that combine perfectly with
a tropical and exotic wallpaper. The warm light exuded by the
mid-century lamps helps to create a cosier and intimate ambience,
making it perfect to be displayed in relaxed areas such as this one.
Wooden panelling, marbles, mid-century lighting and tropical
wallpapers - which vary from green Ottanio to gold, from bronze
to grey and from blue to beige - provide a refined elegance that
elevates the interior design of this hotel. With 57 glamourous
rooms, the five-star hotel marries everything that is sophisticated,
refined and luxurious.
The outdoor space, also designed by Studio Simonetti, is next to
the dazzling indoor common areas where you admire one of the
most breathtaking lakes of Italy, feeling like you are in an actual

from the poolside bar that will allow experiencing sophisticated
