Leica Q Snow
To celebrate the Winter Olympics in South Korea,
Leica has introduced a new special edition version of
the Leica Q created in collaboration with Olympic
snowboarder and photographer Iouri Podladtchikov.
Called the “Snow Edition,” the special camera is lim-
ited to only 300 units worldwide. The Leica Q is a
full-frame camera, which has a very sleek design and
comes with a fast prime lens. For the Snow Edition,
Leica decked out the camera in silver anodized alu-
minium for the top deck, baseplate, and controls. The
body is wrapped in pure white leather and the camera
features an aluminium accessory shoe cover, which is
apparently a first for a Leica camera. Matching the
colour scheme is also a white leather carrying case
and strap. Other than aesthetic changes, the limited
edition is technically the same as the standard Leica
Q. The Limited Edition Leica Q is on sale since March
with a price tag of $5,395/£4300.
The Limited Edition Spyker LM85
Marks the End of an Era
The production of Spyker’s C8 Aileron is coming to an
end, and the Dutch sports car maker has announced
three limited edition models, called the LM85, to mark
the end of an era. Inspired by the brand’s racing pedi-
gree, the Spyker LM85 shows off a stunning alumini-
um bodywork, wider wheel arches, custom air intakes
and many other goodies inside-out. Each unit will also
benefit from a special livery: a cool Jet Black exterior
with Crimson Red accents, a Crimson Red exterior
with Jet Black accents or a Jet Black paint job with
golden flourishes. The unique styling continues inside
the cockpit, where the lucky owners of one of these
beasts will get to enjoy the same colour themes.
Cartier Love Bracelet
Cartier created this romantic collection
that embodies eternal love, a collec-
tion that turns a promise into a com-
mitment. A child of 1970s New York,
the LOVE collection remains today an
iconic symbol of love that transgresses
convention. Studded with diamonds,
yellow gold or rose gold, the screw mo-
tifs, ideal oval shape and undeniable el-
egance establish the piece as a timeless
tribute to passionate romance.
Glenlivet 1943 Decanter
by Gordon
Private Collection Glenlivet 1943 by
Gordon & MacPhail is quite simply
one of the rarest Scotch whiskies ever
bottled. This whisky was distilled at
the Glenlivet Distillery during at the
height of the Second World War when
only a handful of distilleries in Scotland
produced whisky. On the 14th January
1943, Cask 121, a first fill Sherry hogs-
head selected by John and George Ur-
quhart, was filled with new-make spirit
and carefully stowed at the distillery.
The meandering River Spey provides
a unique closure to the handcrafted
wooden box. Hand blown and bespoke,
the decanter’s base and stopper are
adorned with gold engravings of the
land contours surrounding the Glen-
livet Distillery. Every detail of Private
Collection Glenlivet 1943 by Gordon &
MacPhail alludes to the decades of expe-
rience and patience poured into nurtur-
ing the whisky to maturation.
