The project team responded by accepting the challenge of a meticulous and \ntechnologically flawless restoration, where interiors and exteriors saw the maximum reuse of the \noriginal materials.  This first fundamental request, was immediately supported by the study of the \nhousing needs of the client, a large family that loves receiving many guests during the summer. \nThe volume not being able to increase, the space was deeply revised, while respecting the \nexisting, internal distribution, aimed at creating a large night time area. \nRegarding the exterior, these are the main Project highlights: \n- Keep the main entrance in its original position, enhancing it with new materials, new, more \nfunctional forms, and fine finishing.\n- Restore and improve the grounds of the villa, while preserving the botanical garden and \nrecreating the original ecosystem, now deteriorated.\n- Keep the size and shape of the existing pool intact with the aim of fully preserving the green \nspace. In the living areas on \nthe ground floor, the salons are left unchanged in shape and size, creating in the smaller areas a \nbedroom and bathroom for the older members of the family and a study\u002Fguest room, also with \nits bathroom. Create a small half bathroom at the entrance and restore the entire kitchen area.\n- Total revision of the sleeping area on the first floor, thus creating more bedrooms with \nbathrooms. Emphasis is placed on the accommodation of two double master bedrooms. \n - Total revision of the basement area, adapting to the highest standards in technological \nmanagement and functionality, and creating a small Wellness \u002F Fitness area.  \nThe project is developed along these guidelines, and work is done using skilled local workers.  \nDuring construction, the project evolved in accordance with the original brief and the \nadministrative rules for protection of buildings and the landscape.
