He has produced exceptionally \ninviting and innovative designs \nsince the 1990s and his creativity \nhas earned him a global reputation, \nwith his exquisite designs and art \nproduced, exhibited, and appreciated \nacross the globe.\nKONSTANTIN GRCIC\nKonstantin Grcic marries meticulous \nresearch with a minimalist flair. \nFrom training as a cabinetmaker to \ncollaborating with names like Vitra, \nFlos, Muji, and BD, his journey is as \ndiverse as his creations. Grcic is \nbased in Berlin, and his designs exude \nan intense refinement of form. They \nhave a utilitarian elegance and sharp, \nimpressive angles. His designs are \nbeautifully functional.\nÁLVARO SIZA\nÁlvaro Siza.The architect’s architect. \nHis designs are bold and sleek. \nThey have a strong and unified \naesthetic that oozes elegance with \na great technical coherence. Siza’s \narchitecture is honest and efficient, \nand his creativity triggers moments of \ncontemplation.\n \nLLUÍS CLOTET\nLluís Clotet had a daring like no other. \nHe shifted Barcelona’s contemporary \narchitecture and design scene with \na poised eye and a creative mind. He \nwas a founding partner of BD, and his \nrefreshing and iconic structures are \nmodern, influential, and highly refined. \nPEPE CORTÉS\nPepe Cortés has a unique design \nlanguage that refines objects to their \nelemental level. He was involved in \niconic interior design projects and \nco-founded the Open Design Group \nduring the early 1970s. Cortés has \nwon numerous awards and is the \ndesigner of the BD favourite, the \nJamaica stool.\nSTEPHEN BURKS\nStephen Burks blurs the line between \nindustrial manufacturing and \nartisanal design. His collaborations and \ncreations boldly fuse tradition and \ncutting-edge flair. \nANTONI GAUDÍ\nHe developed a formidable mastery \nof structure. His visual language never \nceases to impress. Antoni Gaudí was \nan artist, architect and a leader of the \nCatalan art nouveau. He transformed \nthe formal into undulating structures \nresembling limbs, branching forests, \nand the complex geometry of natural \nlandforms.\nEUGENI QUILLET\nBorn in Ibiza in 1972, Eugeni Quitllet \nsynthesises functional creativity and \nquirky charm. He was more than \na pioneer of Surrealism.  \nHis work shocked and excited society. \nThey had an explicit rawness, one \nwith unusual meanings that, when \ncombined, made irreality concrete. \nThe power and originality of Dalí’s \nwork is still just as immediate and \nimpressive today.\nETTORE SOTTSASS\nEttore Sottsass was an architect \nand grandee of late-20th-century \ndesign. His work developed how we \nview design today. Sottsass notably \nfounded the Memphis collective, \ncreating beautiful glass and ceramic \ndesigns. He is known for his colourful \nand bold geometric forms, and also \ndesigned the Shiva vase in 1973, the \nemblem of BD and a symbol of his \nbright, playful and inspired attitude.\nANTOINE ET MANUEL\nAntoine Audiau and Manuel Warosz \nare the duo behind Antoine et \nManuel. They work together to \ncraft vibrant designs, fusing their \nbackgrounds in product and \nfashion design to create a signature \ngraphic style. Their work has been \nshowcased worldwide, and their \nfurniture design debut came with \nthe cabinet they created for BD. The \nTout va Bien.\nDOSHI LEVIEN\nDoshi Levien began in 2000 in \nLondon.
