REGIS\nAdour is the restaurant and wine bar created by the legendary \naward-winning chef Alain Ducasse inside the famous St. Regis \nHotel. The concept behind the project was to create a space that \nwould be as rich and complex as the cuisine offered by the chef \nhimself. This complexity is reflected in the spatial arrangement of\nthe architecture, the layering of materials and the variety of the \nrange of colours. Corinthian pilaster strips and flora friezes adorn the \nelegant façade, which conserves its eclectic original architectural \nstyling.\nA 5-star boutique hotel, the Grand Hotel Duchi d’Aosta is a \ncharming residence in full Central European character, joined by the \nHarry’s Piccolo restaurant with its two Michelin stars. The \nmain colour of the entire restaurant is red, from the carpets to \nthe sofas, and the soft fabric drapes in several of the rooms. \nAesthetic and emotional impact go hand in hand, sustaining \neach other. It is a narrative that speaks of drama and surprise, \nformulating an intense atmosphere of great impact. Più sobria, ma elegantissima, \nla composizione in una delle camere da letto della villa, che vede \nal centro stanza il lampadario Amsterdam e della stessa collezione \ndue applique ai lati del letto.\nLucknow - India, Lucknow - India\nPRIVATE VILLA\nRemarkable size for this three-storey villa composed of six \nbedrooms, three living areas, a dining room and many other spaces, \nincluding lodgings for the household staff. The client’s request \nwas to have a house that would be a statement of luxury, also \ntransmitting a sense of warmth and intimacy. Priyanka Khanna, an \narchitect of the studio 42mm Architecture, opted for classic French \nstyle as the ideal solution, combined with international elements \nto create an opulent, formal image. Many of the details are in gold, \nfilling the rooms with a forceful emotional presence. Gold crystal is \nalso a feature of the Taif chandelier, a natural completion of a living \narea that speaks of luxury at first sight. The mirrors framing the \nfireplace add depth to the dining room and multiply the light, in tune \nwith the large open base of the table in polished brass. The Saint \nGermain chandelier is a perfect insertion in the design. Many factors \nare called into play, from the colours of the walls and surfaces to the \nchoice of furnishings and the skill that goes into their arrangement. \nPale tones, especially white, tend to reflect light, amplifying the \ngaze, and can be very appealing when combined with gold and \ndarker features that generate intriguing contrasts. In this home, \nthe studio Camille Aryeh Interiors & Architecture demonstrates \nthe fine tuning of genteel, luminous atmospheres. The wood \npanelling, marble, velvet and wall decorations construct a circular \nnarrative, inside which the creations of Barovier&Toso become \na fundamental player. The products are the Vertigo chandelier \nover the dining table, and the Metropolis chandelier in the walk-in \ncloset, two collections inspired by the 1920s and the aesthetic of \nArt Deco.
