become an integral part of the living area thanks to large, full-height sliding windows. The living room, the beating heart of the
house, is a relational space for moments of relaxation and recreation, reflecting the clients’ passion for art and contemporary
design. Works by artists and designers working in Versilia accentuate and define unexpected corners, responding to the clients’
desire to create a link between the house and the territory, not only from an architectural and landscape point of view, but also
from an artistic and intellectual one.
The wellness area in the basement, zenithed-lit by a lushly planted courtyard, is designed to make the owners feel completely
“on holiday”, to relax and recharge without having to leave the house; it includes a spa and sauna, a lounge for reading and
relaxing, and an area dedicated to yoga and exercise. The spa pays homage to Japanese cleansing rituals, with the contrast
between the heat of the sauna or the onsen and the cold water of the mizuburo.
The master bedroom on the ground floor has been designed as an independent and private space in direct contact with the
greenery outside, while the sleeping area on the upper floor enjoys excellent sunlight and a privileged view of the garden and the
horizon, seeking a visual connection with the sea to the south-west.
