Cassina, in collaborazione con Ginori 1735, inaugura la prima
collezione firmata da Formafantasma: Post Scriptum, una collezione
unica di oggetti in porcellana dipinti a mano. Partendo dall’ampio
archivio della Manifattura Ginori, il duo creativo ha selezionato delle
forme archetipe dando una loro interpretazione contemporanea per
valorizzare al meglio l’espressione dell’individualità dei maestri pittori
del brand Made in Florence.
Un gesto istintivo volto a dare libertà al talento: come la matita
che scivola con eleganza sul taccuino, i disegni di Formafantasma
diventano decori sulla porcellana grazie al saper fare, all’abilità e
all’esperienza dei maestri pittori Ginori 1735 che, lavorando con
naturalezza, lasciano il proprio segno attraverso movimenti istintivi,
segni astratti che attualizzano il concept del decoro. La particolarità
della lavorazione di questa collezione consiste nella decorazione “a
graffito” sulla porcellana bisquit ottenuta con una cottura diretta a
1400°C. Il graffito viene disegnato sulla superficie con un pigmento
nero e successivamente fissato a 1230°C. I disegni sono realizzati
interamente a mano con particolari gessetti ceramici solitamente
impiegati per tracciare il contorno delle decorazioni sulla porcellana.
In questo caso, il maestro pittore non lo usa per creare i confini della
decorazione, ma come espressione finale dell’oggetto. Il tratto quindi
diventa casuale e, per questo motivo, ogni oggetto è unico in ogni suo
aspetto, sia per la trama della porcellana che per la manualità emotiva
con cui viene effettuato.
La collezione Post Scriptum comprende una serie di vasi di forme
diverse, due scatole contenitori e un portacandela, caratterizzati da
differenti decorazioni. Oggetti contemporanei che possono vivere
da soli o essere combinati insieme per creare delle composizioni
grafiche. Ogni pezzo, numerato dal maestro stesso che l’ha decorato,
porta i loghi di Cassina e Ginori 1735.
Post Scriptum lascia spazio per esprimersi aggiungendo qualcosa
in più, un ultimo appunto sulla bellezza delle forme di un messaggio
firmato dai maestri pittori.
Cassina, in partnership with Ginori 1735, launches the first collection
by Formafantasma: Post Scriptum, a singular collection of hand-
painted porcelain objects. Starting with the extensive Ginori
Manufactury archives, the creative duo selected some of the
archetypal shapes and gave them a contemporary facelift to fully
maximize the individuality expressed by the Made in Florence brand
master painters.
An instinctive gesture aimed at setting talent free ‒ like the pencil
that elegantly glides across the page, the Formafantasma designs
become decorations on the porcelain, thanks to the know-how, skills
and experience of the Ginori 1735 master painters who, working with
natural ease, leave their mark through instinctive strokes, abstract
signs that contemporize the concept of the design. The uniqueness of
the handiwork in this collection consists of the “graffito” decorations
on bisque porcelain obtained through direct firing at 1400°C. The
graffito is designed on the surface with a black pigment and then set
at 1230°C. The designs are entirely hand-drawn with special ceramic
chalk typically used to trace the outlines of decorations on porcelain.
In this case, the master painter uses it to create the complete
decoration of the object, rather than to trace its borders. The line
becomes random, making each object one-of-a-kind, both in terms
of the texture of the porcelain, as well as the emotional dexterity with
which it is made.
The Post Scriptum collection includes a series of different-shaped
vases, two boxes and a candlestick featuring different motifs.
Contemporary pieces that can stand alone or be combined to create
graphic compositions. Each piece, numbered by the artist who
decorated it, bears the Cassina and Ginori 1735 logos.
Post Scriptum leaves room for expression, adding something extra,
a final note on the beauty of the shapes, of a message signed by the
master painters.
Cassina stellt in Zusammenarbeit mit Ginori 1735 die erste von
Formafantasma signierte Kollektion vor: Post Scriptum, eine
einzigartige Sammlung von handbemalten Porzellanobjekten.
Ausgehend vom umfangreichen Archiv der Manifattura Ginori hat
das Kreativduo archetypische Formen ausgewählt und ihnen eine
eigene zeitgenössische Interpretation gegeben, um den Ausdruck
der Individualität der Meistermaler der Marke Made in Florence zu
verstärken.
Eine instinktive Geste, die darauf abzielt, dem Talent die Freiheit
zu geben: Wie der Bleistift, der elegant über das Notizbuch gleitet,
werden die Zeichnungen von Formafantasma zu Dekorationen auf
Porzellan dank des Know-hows, des Könnens und der Erfahrung der
Malermeister von Ginori 1735, die in natürlicher Weise arbeiten und
durch instinktive Bewegungen, abstrakte Zeichen, die das Konzept der
Dekoration aktualisieren, ihre Spuren hinterlassen. Das Besondere an
der Verarbeitung dieser Kollektion ist das "Graffito"-Dekor auf dem
Biskuitporzellan, das durch direktes Brennen bei 1400°C entsteht.
Das Graffito wird mit einem schwarzen Pigment auf die Oberfläche
gezeichnet und dann bei 1230°C fixiert. Die Dekore werden vollständig
von Hand mit speziellen Keramikkreiden hergestellt, die in der Regel
verwendet werden, um die Umrisse der Dekoration auf dem Porzellan
nachzuzeichnen. In diesem Fall verwendet der Malermeister sie nicht,
um die Grenzen des Dekors festzulegen, sondern als endgültigen
Ausdruck des Objekts. Der Strich wird dann zufällig, und deshalb ist
jedes Objekt in jeder Hinsicht einzigartig, sowohl was die Textur des
Porzellans als auch die emotionale Geschicklichkeit betrifft, mit der es
hergestellt wird.
Die Kollektion Post Scriptum besteht aus einer Reihe unterschiedlich
geformter Vasen, zwei Aufbewahrungsboxen und einem Kerzenständer
mit verschiedenen Dekoren. Zeitgenössische Objekte, die für sich
alleinstehen oder miteinander kombiniert werden können, um grafische
Kompositionen zu schaffen. Jedes Stück ist von dem Meister, der
es verziert hat, nummeriert und trägt die Logos von Cassina und
Ginori 1735. Post Scriptum lässt Raum für Ausdruck, indem es etwas
Zusätzliches hinzufügt, eine abschließende Notiz über die Schönheit
der Formen einer von den Meistermalern unterzeichneten Botschaft.

collection signée Formafantasma : Post Scriptum, une collection
unique d'objets en porcelaine peints à la main. Le duo créatif a
sélectionné des formes archétypales, puisées dans les vastes
archives de la Manufacture Ginori, y apportant une interprétation
contemporaine pour rehausser au mieux l'expression de l'individualité
des peintres de la marque Made in Florence.
Un geste instinctif visant à donner de la liberté au talent : comme le
crayon qui glisse élégamment sur les pages d'un carnet, les dessins
de Formafantasma deviennent des décorations sur porcelaine
grâce au savoir-faire, à la dextérité et à l'expérience des peintres
Ginori 1735 qui, travaillant avec naturel, laissent leur empreinte par
des mouvements instinctifs, des signes abstraits qui actualisent le
concept du décor. La fabrication de cette collection se démarque par
sa décoration « en graffiti » sur du biscuit de porcelaine obtenu par
cuisson directe à 1400°C. Le graffiti est dessiné sur la surface avec un
pigment noir puis fixé à 1230°C. Les dessins sont entièrement réalisés
à la main avec des craies céramiques spéciales, habituellement
utilisées pour tracer le contour des décorations sur la porcelaine.
Dans ce cas, le peintre ne s’en sert pas pour créer les bordures
du décor mais comme expression finale de l'objet. Le trait devient
alors aléatoire et, pour cette raison, chaque objet est unique en tout
point, qu'il s'agisse de la texture de la porcelaine ou de la dextérité
émotionnelle avec laquelle il est fabriqué.
La collection Post Scriptum comprend une série de vases de
formes différentes, deux contenants et un bougeoir, caractérisés
par différentes décorations. Ces objets contemporains peuvent être
utilisés seuls ou se combiner entre eux pour créer des compositions
graphiques. Chaque pièce, numérotée par le peintre qui l'a décorée,
porte les logos de Cassina et Ginori 1735.
Post Scriptum laisse place à l'expression en ajoutant un plus, une note
finale sur la beauté des formes d'un message signé par les peintres.
