Questa versione della poltroncina
fu progettata per la Villa Church à Ville-
d’Avray nel 1928 con il sedile e lo schienale
imbottiti per rispondere alla richiesta
di un estremo confort da parte del cliente.
Un modello simile imbottito fu realizzato,
sempre nel 1928, anche per la galleria d’arte
del collezionista Raoul La Roche. Si tratta
dei primi prototipi che servirono per mettere
a punto in modo più preciso anche
la struttura del modello del 1929
per il Salon d’automne.
Armchair with structure in polished trivalent

Padded seat and backrest in polyurethane.
The armrests are wider at the front
and tapered towards the back.

— blue satin, with the front part of the armrest
featuring grey leather trimmings
— leather with coordinated armrest.
In this version of the sling chair, designed
in 1928 for the Villa Church à Ville-d’Avray,
the seat and backrest were padded to meet
the client’s request for maximum comfort.
Also in 1928, a similar padded model was
created for the art gallery
of collector Raoul La Roche. These fi rst
prototypes were used to defi ne more
accurately the structure of the 1929 model
for the Salon d’Automne.

Diese Version des kleinen Sessels wurde
1928 für den Villa Church in Ville-d’Avray
mit gepolstertem Sitz und Rückenlehne
entworfen, um dem Bedürfnis nach
höchstem Komfort gerecht zu werden.
Ein gepolstertes ähnliches Modell war,
ebenfalls 1928, auch für die Kunstgalerie
des Sammlers Raoul La Roche realisiert
worden. Es handelt sich um die ersten
Prototypen, die dazu dienten, die Struktur
des Modells für den Salon d’Automne 1929
präziser auszuarbeiten.

Cette version de fauteuil fut conçue pour
la Villa Church à Ville-d’Avray en 1928 ;
il est constitué d’un assise et d’un dossier
rembourrés pour satisfaire la demande
du client, qui le voulait extrêmement
confortable. Un modèle similaire rembourré
fut également réalisé, toujours en 1928, pour
la galerie d’art du collectionneur Raoul
La Roche. Il s’agit des premiers prototypes
qui ont permis de mettre au point, de façon
plus précise, la structure du modèle de 1929
pour le Salon de l’Automne.
