Bollicosa Nautilus is similar to the Bollicosa indoor
blown glass sphere, with its distinctive bubbled surface
produced by artisan glassblowing; the natural irregularities
make the material rough and opaque, lending it the
appearance of a fossilised stone. A knotted rope net in
contrasting colours envelops the lamp, reminiscent of the
woven elements in the furnishings in the Cassina outdoor
collection.

Bollicosa Nautilus ripropone la sfera di vetro soffiato
della Bollicosa indoor, con la caratteristica superficie a
bollicine data dalla soffiatura artigianale; le naturali irregolarità
rendono ruvido e opaco il materiale, con un effetto che ricorda
una pietra fossile. Avvolge il diffusore una rete di corda, con
nodi in toni a contrasto, che richiama gli intrecci realizzati a
mano degli arredi della collezione outdoor di Cassina.

Bollicosa Nautilus propose de nouveau la sphère en
verre soufflé du modèle Bollicosa d'intérieur, avec ses bulles
caractéristiques, dues au soufflage artisanal ; les irrégularités
donnent un effet rugueux et matifiant au matériau, rappelant
une pierre fossile. Un filet en corde, avec des nœuds dans des
teintes contrastées, évoque les tressages faits à la main de la
collection d’extérieur de Cassina.

Bollicosa Nautilus greift die mundgeblasene Glaskugel
von Bollicosa Indoor mit der typischen Bläschenoberfläche
auf, die sich beim Blasen von Glas in der handwerklichen
Fertigung bildet. Die natürlichen Unregelmäßigkeiten
verleihen dem Glas eine raue und matte Oberfläche mit
einem Effekt, der an einen fossilen Stein erinnert. Der
Diffusor ist von einem Seilnetz mit Knoten in Kontrastfarben
umgeben, das an die Geflechte erinnert, die in Handarbeit für
die Einrichtungsgegenstände der Outdoor-Kollektion von
Cassina ausgeführt werden.
