La collezione Bamboo Design nasce da una collaborazione con Emanuela
Garbin e Michela Boglietti. Partendo dalla collezione Bamboo Shaded,
composta da tappeti in bamboo e cotone, tessuti a telaio e ricchi di
sfumature ton-sur-ton, le designer hanno pensato una linea di tappeti dai
magnifici disegni tridimensionali.
Al lungo processo di lavorazione richiesto per realizzare i tappeti Bamboo,
si aggiunge quindi un attento lavoro d’intaglio manuale, grazie al quale sulla
superficie si delineano vari disegni ispirati al mondo naturale. Attraverso
questa collezione Emanuela Garbin e Michela Boglietti raccontano
‘frammenti di viaggio’ e ‘istantanee di panorami mozzafiato’. Non a caso,
ogni versione della linea Bamboo Design richiama alla mente un paesaggio
incontaminato: Ground, con i suoi colori caldi e le linee irregolari, ricorda
i campi di grano o le aride distese di terra infuocate dal sole; Iceberg,
dai disegni geometrici e dalle sfumature grigie, è ispirato al silenzio dei
ghiacciai; Jungle, la cui trama riproduce le venature delle foglie, trasporta
in un’insolita e verdeggiante vegetazione; Seashell, coi delicati intagli
semicircolari, evoca lunghe spiagge battute dalle onde.
Con questa collaborazione Carpet Edition coniuga al meglio la
tradizione antica con le esigenze di stile contemporaneo e un’attenzione
all’ecosostenibilità, infatti i materiali scelti sono naturali e garantiscono
resistenza e comfort, ad un basso impatto ambientale. È quindi possibile
portare la magia di un ‘saper fare’ perso nella notte dei tempi anche nelle
case più moderne, senza per questo rinunciare al design.

Starting from the Bamboo Shaded collection, Carpet Edition has chosen
to collaborate with Emanuela Garbin and Michela Boglietti to create
Bamboo Design, a line of carpets worked and carved so finely as to create
magnificent three-dimensional designs.
To the long processing process required for the realisation of Bamboo rugs
is added a careful and precise carving work, thanks to which it is possible to
see sketched on the surface various designs inspired by the natural world.
Emanuela Garbin and Michela Boglietti, in fact, have chosen to tell through
this collection some ‘fragments of travel’, ‘instants of breathtaking views’.
Not surprisingly, each version of the line Bamboo Design recalls a pristine
landscape: Ground, with its warm colors and irregular lines, reminiscent of
the wheat fields or the arid expanses of earth inflamed by the sun; Iceberg,
between geometric designs and gray shades, is inspired by the silence of
the glaciers; Jungle, in which the three-dimensional texture reproduces
the veins of the leaves, transports in an unusual and green vegetation;
Seashell, with its delicate semicircular carvings, evokes long beaches
beaten by the waves.
With this collaboration Carpet Edition best combines ancient tradition with
the needs of contemporary style and attention to eco-sustainability, in fact
the materials chosen are natural and guarantee resistance and comfort,
with a low environmental impact. Only in this way it is possible to bring even
in the most modern homes the magic of a ‘know how to do’ lost in the mists
of time, put at the service of modern design.
