Home, Betty è una poltrona imbottita dalle forme generose la
cui caratteristica principale risiede nell’avvolgente schienale
degradante in due comodi braccioli. La rotondità delle forme,
sottolineata dalla base curvata in legno e presente anche nel pouf
abbinato, conferisce all’insieme un senso di comfort, eleganza e
relax. Il nome — ispirato a Betty Catroux, figura di riferimento
del grande couturier Yves Saint Laurent — ammicca ad un ideale
di involontaria eleganza, senza tempo, oltre la mode.

(en) / Designed by Giorgio Bonaguro for Carpanese Home,
Betty is a generously-sized padded armchair. The main feature
is the enveloping backrest that forms two comfortable armrests.
The rounded shapes, emphasized by the curved wooden base,
appear in the matching pouf, which gives the ensemble a sense
of comfort, elegance and relaxation. The name — inspired by
Betty Catroux, a muse of the prominent couturier Yves Saint
Laurent — is a nod to an ideal of involuntary, timeless elegance,
beyond fashion.
