Beautiful examples of Hans J. Wegner’s Shaker influences, the CH46 and CH47 Chairs combine organic
materials and shapes into statement minimalist forms. The elegant 1965 chair designs showcase
Wegner’s affinity for functional, elegant simplicity. Both chairs share a lightly reclined composition
that gives the overall form a dynamic expression. At the front, the CH46 Chair’s armrest has the exact
elegant rounding as the front leg while curving slightly upwards toward the back, which is firmly fastened
