DAISUKE KITAGAWA
Per questa serie di tavolini con struttura in metallo cromato,
il designer giapponese Daisuke Kitagawa, fondatore dello
studio Design for Industry, ha voluto rivoluzionare il concetto
di tavolino da salotto rendendolo ancora più funzionale ed
estremamente personalizzabile: i piani, realizzati in vetro
fumé o retrolaccato bianco e nero, possono infatti essere
liberamente posizionati dall’utente per riorganizzare gli spazi
adattandoli alle diverse esigenze. La base è fissa con finitura
a specchio, per un effetto di estrema leggerezza visiva.
For this series of service tables with chromed metal structure,
the Japanese designer Daisuke Kitagawa, founder of Design
for Industry studio, tried to revolutionize the idea of living
table by making it even more functional and extremely
customizable: the tops, made of smokey grey or black and
white back-painted glass, can be freely positioned by the
users to reorganize the spaces according to their different
needs. The base is fixed and comes with a mirror finish, which
gives the table extreme visual lightness.
