The FRAME table is an exercise in self-discipline by a designer who is usually highly expressive and eclectic. With the FRAME table, Stephen Burks has chosen to reveal his more structuralist side by creating an architectural classic for the dining room. The light steel frame that intersects under the glass top interweaves with different proportions. Partly Mies, partly Giò Ponti, the FRAME table unites the different worlds of Burks, becoming an object that any home would wish to have – a piece that is truly 'at home' in any surroundings.
