La struttura in legno, lavorata
in ogni dettaglio, è una matrice
identica per poltrona e lounge,
che insieme compongono la collezione
Peggy disegnata da Marco Zito.
Con finitura naturale, tinto o laccato
opaco, il frassino crea due ‘cavalletti’
che fungono da gambe, con
inclinazioni diverse e modellate
sui bordi per un effetto morbido
e raggiato. Culminano in un elegante
e comodo bracciolo, arricchito da una
parte leggermente imbottita e rivestita
in pelle o tessuto, mentre sono uniti
da due traversi in legno che sostengono
la scocca. Lo schienale ne definisce
invece l’estetica caratterizzante.
Nella poltrona è più basso, con profilo
superiore arrotondato; nella lounge,
invece, alla stessa sagoma si incastra
un poggiatesta dalle dimensioni
importanti, con un’imbottitura
modellata a differenti spessori.
The wood frame, worked in every detail, is an identical
matrix for armchair and lounge, which together create
the Peggy collection designed by Marco Zito. With a
natural, stained or matte lacquered finish, the ashwood
creates two ‘trestles’ that act as legs, with different
inclinations and shaped at the edges for a soft, radiating
effect. They culminate in an elegant and comfortable
armrest, enhanced by a lightly upholstered part covered
in leather or fabric, while they are joined by two wooden
crosspieces that support the shell. The backrest, on the
other hand, establishes its defining aesthetic. In the
armchair, it is lower, with a rounded upper profile; in
the lounge, on the other hand, the same silhouette is
fitted with a sizeable headrest, with padding molded to
different thicknesses.
La structure en bois, travaillée dans les moindres détails,
est une matrice identique pour le fauteuil et la lounge
qui composent la collection Peggy, dessinée par Marco
Zito. En finition naturelle, teintée ou laquée mate, le
frêne crée deux “tréteaux” qui servent de pieds, avec des
inclinaisons différentes et modelés sur les bords pour
un effet doux et radial. Ils aboutissent à un accoudoir
élégant et confortable, enrichi d’une partie légèrement
rembourrée et recouverte de cuir ou de tissu, et sont
reliés par deux traverses en bois qui soutiennent la coque.
C’est le dossier, en revanche, qui définit l’esthétique
caractéristique. Dans le fauteuil, il est plus bas, avec un
profil supérieur arrondi ; dans la lounge, en revanche, la
même silhouette est dotée d’un grand appui-tête, avec
des rembourrages modélisés en différentes épaisseurs.
Das bis ins Detail gestaltete Holzgestell bildet die Basis
für Sessel und Lounge, aus denen die von Marco Zito
entworfene Kollektion Peggy besteht. Das transparent,
gebeizt oder farbig lackierte Eschenholzgestell wird aus
zwei “Böcken”, die als Beine fungieren, gebildet. Mit
unterschiedlichen Neigungen in der Konstruktion und
Kantenform entstehen weiche, strahlende Effekte. Diese
enden in eleganten und bequemen Armlehnen, die durch
ein leichtes, mit Leder oder Stoff bezogenes Polster
ergänzt werden. Zwei Querstreben aus Holz verbinden
die Gestellteile und tragen die Sitzsschale. Diese zeigt bei
Sessel und Stuhl unterschiedliche Aussagen: Während
das geneigte Sitzkissen harmonisch und rhythmisch,
mit umlaufendem Keder und Absteppung, bei beiden
Versionen gleich ist, bestimmt die Rückenlehne den
Stil. Beim Sessel niedriger und mit abgerundetem Profil
nach oben, beim Loungesessel zusätzlich mit einer
großen Kopfstütze ausgestattet, deren Polsterung in
verschiedenen Ausprägungen geformt ist.
