SFERA
The sfera family offers three shapes and several sizes
of lights designed to meet the needs of demanding
projects and the architects and other profe ssionals
behind them. The prevailing characteristic of
the sfera project light is a clean cut across the top
that serves as a platform for an elegant decagonal
fixture. The timeless object casts a gentle lumi-
nance through handblown matte opal glass, which
is attached to a metal plate with a subtle multangular
detail. The sphere is crafted in eight sizes (150 to
600 mm), and a practical brokis connector facilitates
installation and cleaning. The universal beauty and
simplicity of the sfera family mean it can be used in
any space and in any number, from a single light as
an elegant accent, to large bespoke compositions
of different shapes and sizes. A later addition to
the family is sfera Portable, a rechargeable out-
door light. Available in two sizes, it features a small
sphere of handblown matte or gloss glass set within
a concrete base with the same subtle multangular
detail used throughout the family. A stainless-steel
hoop serves as a handle for moving the light from
one place to another. Handblown glass anchored
in a raw, almost brutalist concrete base is an excel-
lent match for modern architecture, but it can also
be used to great effect when set in contrast with
historical buildings. sfera Portable is a stylish atmos-
pheric lighting object designed for both outdoor
and indoor applications.
