SOFTWARE
& DATA FILES
DWG (DXF)
The Drawing Format (DWG) is a widely used standard
for exchanging CAD data between different design
software. Developed by Autodesk, it allows seamless
transfer of 2D and 3D technical drawings, models,
and plans across various platforms with no loss
of critical data. Commonly used in architecture,
engineering, and interior design, DXF files
are supported by most design applications,
including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Rhino.
BROKIS offers DWG files for its lights, ensuring
precise integration into projects. These files make
it easy for architects and designers to work
with accurate dimensions and lighting placements,
streamlining the design process and minimizing
errors. Ideal for collaboration across teams, DWG files
are an essential tool for professionals working
with CAD software.
3D MODELS
BROKIS supplies high-quality 3D models
of its lights, enabling accurate and realistic
visualizations for digital projects. These detailed
models allow architects and designers to seamlessly
incorporate lighting into their projects, helping them
envision the final interior with a remarkable degree
of precision. Compatible with software
such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, and AutoCAD,
the models are conceived to provide precise
renderings of the actual dimensions and shapes
of BROKIS lights.
Easy to import and customize, the 3D models
are ideal for testing different compositions
and placements, giving customers a clearer picture
of how the lights will look in real space. The models
not only streamline the design process
but also guarantee visual consistency throughout
the project, making them an essential tool
for architects, designers, and lighting specialists.
SKETCHUP AND 3D WAREHOUSE
SketchUp is a user-friendly 3D modelling software
commonly used in architecture and interior design.
It allows easy creation and modification of models,
including lighting plans.
SketchUp 3D Warehouse is an online database
offering a collection of BROKIS lights in 3D format,
which are available for download from both the 3D
Warehouse and BROKIS websites. With accurate
dimensions matching real BROKIS lights, these models
allow for precise placement and visualization in interior
designs, facilitating the design process and selection
of the ideal lights for any space.
LDT FILES
Luminaires Data Transfer files, aka LDT, contain
essential photometric data describing the luminous
properties of a light, such as brightness, direction,
and distribution. Because they enable the simulation
and optimization of various lighting scenarios, LDT
files are crucial for performing accurate calculations
on interior and exterior lighting projects. The files
are compatible with professional software
such as Dialux and Relux, meaning lighting designers
can plan and adjust lighting in a wide range
of settings in order to achieve optimal output
and maximum energy efficiency.
By providing LDT files for all its lights, BROKIS
makes it easy to integrate its products into design
projects and achieve a perfectly balanced lighting
atmosphere.
