MARTY
If it is true that the bed, more than other complements, tells the
story of the evolution of our way of living in the home, Marty is
among the creations that more than others takes note of and
interprets recent changes through design. Its upholstered head-
board, generous and soft like the back of a sofa, reminds us that the
bedroom is no longer just a room to sleep in, but a space to be
enjoyed all day long between a book, a computer or a cup of coffee ,
work tools and relaxation companions to be stored in the special
side tray which becomes a comfortable support surface.

Se è vero che il letto, più di altri arredi, racconta l’evoluzione del nostro modo di vivere la casa, Marty è tra
le creazioni che più di altre prende atto e interpreta grazie al design i cambiamenti recenti. La sua testiera imbot-
tita, generosa e soffice come lo schienale di un divano, ci ricorda che la camera da letto non è più soltanto la
stanza per dormire, ma uno spazio da vivere tutto il giorno tra un libro, il computer o una tazza di caffè, strumenti
di lavoro e compagni di relax da riporre nello speciale vassoio laterale che diventa una comoda superficie
d’appoggio.
