Ancient metalwork, the excellence of Italian know-how, is revived
in this contemporary bed where the headboard and footboard form
a single body, upholstered, and covered in fabric, that runs along
the frame and rests on forged iron legs. Bend-e transforms the iron
structure into artisanal workmanship, drawing on ancient manual
techniques that have been replaced over time by the industrial
approach, thus becoming a further example of Bolzan’s ability to
transform a piece of furniture into a zero-kilometre manufacture
with a strong sustainable vocation.

L’antica lavorazione del metallo, eccellenza del saper fare italiano, rivive in questo letto contemporaneo
dove testiera e pediera danno forma a un corpo unico, imbottito e rivestito in tessuto, che corre lungo la struttura
e appoggia sulle gambe in ferro forgiato. Bend-e trasforma la struttura in ferro in una lavorazione artigianale,
ripescando tecniche manuali antiche, sostituite nel tempo dall’approccio industriale, diventando così un ulteriore
esempio della capacità di Bolzan di trasformare un arredo in una manifattura a km 0 dalla forte vocazione
sostenibile.
