Cesare Berti nasce a Villa del Conte
(PD). Appena dodicenne è già al lavo-
ro come apprendista falegname.
Cesare Berti was born in Villa del Conte,
in the Padua province. When he was only
twelve he was already at work as an
apprentice carpenter.

Si mette in proprio e avvia un piccolo
laboratorio di falegnameria.
He branched out on his own and started a
small carpentry workshop.

Cesare Berti trasferisce la propria at-
tività in una nuova sede, più ampia.
Acquista una segatronchi e si orienta
al commercio di legnami.
Cesare Berti moved his business to a new
location, a bigger one. He purchased a
sawmill and for some time he focused on
the timber trade.

Viene fondata “IN.PAR. Industria Par-
chetti”, specializzata nella produzio-
ne e nella posa di pavimenti in legno.

Con i figli Giancarlo e Silvano, Cesare
fonda la “P.B. Parchettificio Berti”,
con oltre 100 dipendenti. Prima
azienda nel settore ad adottare linee
computerizzate per la scelta del
parquet.

Parchettificio Berti”, which since the
beginning counts over 100 employees.
It’s the first company to employ the
computerized lines for the choice of the
parquet.
Avec ses fils Giancarlo et Silvano, Cesare
fonda le “P.B. Parchettificio Berti”,
avec plus de 100 employés. Première
entreprise du secteur à adopter des lignes
informatisées pour le choix du parquet.
Core business: pavimenti a disegno
geometrico, ispirati alle antiche vil-
le venete o altri edifici artistici. Poi,
grazie alla tecnica di taglio al laser,
inizia la produzione dei pavimenti in-
tarsiati.
Core Business: floors with geometrical
patterns inspired by the floorings of the
antique mansion houses of the Veneto
region and by other artistic buildings.
Afterwards, thanks to employement
of the laser cut technique it begins the
manifacturing of innovative inlaid floors.

artistiques. Puis, grâce à la technique de
découpe au laser, commence la production
de sols incrustés.
La ragione sociale diventa “Berti Pa-
vimenti Legno”. Grazie alla tecnolo-
gia laser, nascono opere di prestigio,
come le pavimentazioni del Cremlino
e la ricostruzione del pavimento del
castello di Windsor. Nasce la linea
brevettata “Antico”.
The name of company was changed to
“Berti Pavimenti Legno”. The modern
laser technology ensures works of
extraordinary prestige, as some floors
of the Kremlin Palace and the Windsor
Castle.
Le nom de la société devient “Berti
Pavimenti Legno”. Grâce à la technologie
laser, des œuvres prestigieuses sont
créées, telles que les sols du Kremlin et
la reconstruction du sol du château de
Windsor. La ligne brevetée “Antico” est née.

Il mercato si orienta verso il prefinito
con una sostituzione dei macchinari
e 4 nuove linee produttive. Nel 2002
produzione del prefinito di grandi
dimensioni. Nel 2004 acquisto di 3
macchinari per il parquet prefinito ad
intarsio.
The market takes up toward the
prefinished floor: in the 2002 begins
a changeover of the machinaries, with
the purchase of four new manufacturing
lines. In the 2004 three new machinaries
for the parquet prefinished inlaid work
were purchased.
