Unshielded light
Our glass reaches a temperature of over 1300 degrees Celsius
during processing. Our glassmakers install a translucent layer of
opal glass between two layers of crystal glass. During that time,
the glass flows like honey. We wanted to give this valuable glass
mass a new, more glass-like form – and got our inspiration from
pebbles on the beach.
Their soft, flowing and almost random shapes are very similar
to those of glass during the melting process.
The luminaire glass moves freely on the fittings. That is how
just two shapes in two sizes allow the creation of endless
arrangements – reminiscent of the random, natural interplay
of pebbles on the beach. And made far more beautiful with light.
