BEGA luminaires are designed to blend harmoniously into the
overall architecture as an aesthetic architectural detail and to fulfil
their tasks over a long period of time. As part of our commitment
to sustainability, we pay special attention to efficient surface
protection for all our luminaires. Here, we focus on corrosion
resistance, weather resistance and light stability – and not just
because of the very different climatic conditions around the world.
Our registered trademarks BEGA Coating Technology ®,
BEGA Unidure®, and BEGA Tricoat ® guarantee surface protection
of the highest quality.

Materials
We take much pride in the selection of superior materials for the
design and manufacture of our products. Cast aluminium, for
example, not only guarantees superior strength – it also dissipates
heat, which is a definite plus for the thermo-management of the
luminaires. Aluminium offers optimal stability, is lightweight, and
corrosion-resistant.
If criteria such as weight reduction and strength are paramount,
high-strength synthetic materials are the first choice. Through
additive manufacturing, we guarantee the resource-efficient
realisation of precise designs. Translucent synthetic materials in
combination with our three-ply opal glass ensure uniform lighting
with very good light distribution and high light transmission.
The thick-walled crystal glass with its frosted rim creates
atmospheric light accents. Safety glass is used wherever
luminaires need protection against dust and water.
A clever combination of materials ensures optimal functionality,
and gives our products a unique and high-quality look and feel.
