BEGA lighting technology
LED technology
Our BEGA luminaires feature precisely coordinated LED modules
that we develop and manufacture in-house. These modules
are produced with strictest quality checks far beyond market
standards. Decades of experience have taught us the high quality
that is required of our luminaires, motivating us to continually
strive for further improvements. We recognised early on that we
were unable to meet the quality requirements we had set for
ourselves with components readily available on the market. That
is why we manufacture our LED modules in our own state-of-the-
art production facilities. These give us complete control over all
materials used and allow us to optimally define all key factors like
light output, light colour and thermal management.

Colour temperature
All LED luminaires in this brochure are available in the light colour
warm white (3000 K). For some of the luminaires, the deliverable
light spectrum starts at 2700 Kelvin, similar to the light of a
conventional light bulb. We also offer other luminaires in neutral
white (4000 K), which is generally used in traditional office
lighting.
Some luminaires are offered with a colour temperature choice
of 3000 and 4000 Kelvin. Our default luminaire configuration is
delivered with 3000 Kelvin. The LED module’s colour temperature
can be toggled or reconnected manually at any time – to suit
different lighting requirements or as a temporary solution in case
of replacement.
Variable colour temperature (tunable white)
Other luminaires are offered with variable colour temperature
(tunable white) for even more flexible lighting options.
Luminaires with tunable white control can be set to colour
temperatures between 2700 and 6500 Kelvin. The lighting
can therefore be adapted to any requirement. Modern control
technologies allow an automatic, needs-oriented adjustment
of the colour temperature over the course of the day.
