Wall washers emit their light at a high output rate onto the
surfaces to be illuminated.
Integrated reflectors or reflector systems direct the light more
precisely than unshielded luminaires.
Wall washers with a trapezoidal geometry offer symmetrical or
asymmetrical light distribution, depending on whether they are
intended to direct their light primarily onto the mounting surface
or into the surrounding space – i.e. for the illumination of ceiling
or ground surfaces. These luminaires can be installed with their
light emission pointing upward or downward.
The luminaires with rectangular geometry distribute their light
evenly upward and downward. Their reflector system directs
the light onto the mounting surface just like a light curtain.
