Finishes
The most important aspect of our luminaires is – of course – the light they emit.
But also unlit, our luminaires are defined by their superior materiality and the
colour of their finish. White fittings virtually disappear into the background –
especially in combination with opal glass, which ensures a soft and uniform
light distribution. This combination exudes an understated elegance that will
seamlessly match with a wide variety of interior styles.
Luminaires with a metallic finish like stainless steel, palladium, chrome and
polished aluminium reflect their immediate surroundings and generally create
an attractive contrast to their white or transparent glass components. Stainless
steel and palladium have a subtle, yet distinctive presence, while the high-gloss
finish of chrome and polished aluminium creates an intense reflective effect that
draws the eye.
The colours brass and copper also have their established place among the
bandwidth of our finishes. Both are offered in a variety of versions: in a slightly
pearly, textured finish (velvet brass and velvet copper) and in a matt finish with
a visible sanded texture (brass matt and copper matt).
Velvet brass and velvet copper give luminaires a luxurious look and feel as well
as visual depth.
The matt variants, on the other hand, add authenticity and an air of quality with
the visible traces of their manufacturing.
The combination with interior colours like aluminium and white, and exterior
colours like velvet black and velvet white forms the colour spectrum of our
STUDIO LINE luminaires. This colour pallet offers many design options, ranging
from minimalist modernity to traditional elegance.
These carefully coordinated colour finishes add to the fact that each luminaire
not only offers superior functionality, but also is aesthetically pleasing. They will
