LED recessed wall luminaires for flush or surface mounting
Unshielded or shielded light
For decades, BEGA luminaires with this design have been outstanding lighting construction details
on numerous structures worldwide. As their successors, these new luminaires have been adapted
to todays installation situations and to our LED technology. The slim yet screwless luminaire frames
of this new series are design-defining. The extremely low maintenance requirements of our LED
technology enable a new product concept with far easier and quicker installation. The electrical
connection is now comfortably made before installation in the structure. The installed luminaire
is then secured in the structure, e.g. in drywalls or in an installation housing, using the BEGA
mounting system.
You can choose between two installation housings and two plaster frames for the various
installation situations. The luminaires can be surface-mounted as usual or they can be flush-
mounted in plastered walls. For installation in EWIS external wall insulation systems pleaseuse a
Type B installation housing in combination with a Type C or Type D plaster frame. At the planning
stage, please consult the instructions for use issued for installation housings and installation

The installation dimensions of these new luminaires are identical to those of the previous luminaires.
Two groups of luminaires for illuminating corridors, pathways and staircases both indoors and out.
The unshielded luminaires are optionally available as location luminaires with lower light output
or as unshielded luminaires for applications where a higher degree of illuminance is required.
The shielded luminaires are for marking dangerous areas and traffic areas in low ambient
brightness.

These are luminaires which will impress you through the choice of colour temperature, a minimum
LED service life of 50 000 hours and 20 years availability guarantee for the LED modules.

The luminaire luminous flux and the luminaire connected wattage quoted in the table might change
as a result of technical progress. On our website you will find data sheets with information on each
luminaire concerning not only the current values but also the LED service life and the luminous flux
in relation to the respective colour temperature.
