Unshielded light or asymmetrical flat beam light distribution
Unshielded luminaires or luminaires with asymmetrical flat beam light distribution.
The unshielded luminaires have a directing and guiding light effect.
The degree of illuminance on the surface to be illuminated is lower, but the ambient
brightness created is greater. This increased vertical illuminance allows persons, for
example, to be noticed more quickly.
The asymmetrical flat beam light distribution is suitable for the glare-free
illumination of ground surfaces, e.g. driveways, stairs and footpaths. If ambient
brightness is low, the luminaires create a high degree of illuminance on the surface
to be illuminated.
Shallow installation depths and the BEGA mounting system ensure simple and
economical installation in solid or hollow structures.

When making the recessed opening, it might be practical to use an installation
housing. If luminaires are to be installed in brickwork or in concrete walls that will
later be plastered, additional plaster frames should be used. For technical data,
see Page 560.
These are luminaires which will impress you through the choice of colour
temperature, a minimum LED service life of 50 000 hours and 20 years availability
guarantee for the LED modules.
