The construction principle of these luminaires provides a solution for numerous lighting applications on
large-area ground surfaces. The significantly lower installation costs compared to recessed luminaires,
and the different installation variations, reduce the overall installation costs and offer a high degree of
flexibility. The luminaires are simply fixed to the substrate with a mounting plate. Just one core hole
needs to be drilled by the customer for the cable to pass through.
The luminaires are simply connected with their connecting cable to any commercially available sleeves
or to the BEGA distribution box 70730. To meet the different requirements at the installation site, we
offer an anchorage unit or connection housing as an accessory. They must be ordered separately.
The luminaires can thus be installed in loose substrates such as sand or gravel. For the technical data
of anchorage units, see Page 544, and of connection housings, see Page 545.
Depending on the substrates load-bearing capability, the luminaires can support a load of up
to 1000kg and withstand vehicles with pneumatic tyres. The luminaires must not be used in areas
exposed to horizontal loads caused by braking, accelerating and changes of direction.
A maximum 30 °C is reached as the operating temperature T in the centre of the glass surface
(measured in accordance with EN 60598 at ambient temperature ta 15 °C).
Protection class IP 67 · Cast aluminium and stainless steel · Borosilicate glass
Reflector made of pure anodised aluminium · 1.8 m connecting cable with water stop
A separate power supply unit is required to operate the luminaires 77069 · 77 070.
For technical data, see Page 554.
If through-wiring to a further luminaire is required, we recommend using distribution box 70730.
For the technical data of the distribution box, see Page 546.
These are luminaires which will impress you through the choice of colour temperature, a minimum
LED service life of 50 000 hours and 20 years availability guarantee for the LED modules.
LED colour temperature: 3000 K article number or 4000 K article number + K4
The luminaire luminous flux and the luminaire connected wattage quoted in the table might change
as a result of technical progress. On our website you will find data sheets with information on each
luminaire concerning not only the current values but also the LED service life and the luminous flux
in relation to the respective colour temperature.
