Unshielded wall luminaires illuminate entrance areas,
corridors, staircases and areas in front of buildings
with a soft and very wide beam of light. They can
be arranged individually, in rows or as a group.
They structure and accentuate wall surfaces with
their graphic shapes even during the day.
Clear basic shapes
At night, the luminaire bodies of unshielded wall
luminaires are much more noticeable than shielded
wall luminaires. Highly visible light graphics in
clear basic shapes guide the view and emphasise
the structure of the architecture. Unshielded wall
luminaires enhance the feeling of safety, because
their immediate surroundings are very well
illuminated. Their light distribution creates softly
outlined shadows, increasing visual comfort.
Good visibility
Installing wall luminaires requires considerably
less effort than installing recessed wall luminaires.
Unshielded luminaires are also suitable for house
numbering or other signage due to their good
visibility and white glass surfaces. Luminaires with
a suitably large surface are available on request
as house number luminaires with weatherproof
lettering.
Traditional shapes
Within the lantern, whether round or rectangular,
the unshielded light source is protected behind
a grating.
