Recessed ceiling luminaires
Compact downlights with cast aluminium trim ring
Recessed ceiling luminaires are an option for unobtrusive, barely
visible room illumination from the ceiling. The issue here is to choose
the right type of light distribution: The rotationally symmetrical light
distribution is comparable to the light cone of a floodlight and is
available with three different light characteristics. Luminaires with
asymmetrical light distribution are used to illuminate wall surfaces.
The highly efficient recessed ceiling luminaires come with external,
DALI controllable power supply units.
Suitable installation housings are available for installations in
concrete ceilings. Detailed information can be found on bega.com
in the instructions for use for these luminaires.
On Pages 33 and 35, you will find luminaires with the same light
distribution type, but various trim ring finishes.

The half beam angle β describes the size of the light cone with which an object or surface is actually illuminated. Luminaires
with wider half beam angles should be chosen for short lighting distances, a focused light is recommended for larger distances.
