DUOLOGIC: Part of the light exits from the top of the metal shield, illuminating the area above the luminaire and increasing visual comfort.
The option to rely on our own LED and glass production
when implementing new ideas has always allowed us
to remain one step ahead of the competition.
We have developed special LED modules for these
two pendant luminaires and combined them in a unique
way with a patented glass structure to create luminaire
glass with two light intensities.
We call this luminaire glass DUOLOGIC.
The basic idea behind it: the maximum luminous
intensity of the LED is guided downward through the
luminaire glass directly onto the illuminated surface,
achieving maximum possible brightness. The second
brightness zone of a shielded pendant luminaire is
directed upwards and emphasises the lower edge of
the glass.
A metal shield additionally ensures perfect lateral glare
suppression.
In the unshielded pendant luminaire, the second light
zone impacts the exterior of the glass. This will give
the outer glass surface luminance with high visual
comfort. These luminaires are a great choice for
a variety of lighting tasks over tables, counters or
reception desks.
Choosing a smart canopy will ensure a full BEGA Smart
integration of the luminaires with additional wireless
control option.
