Additive colour mixing
RGBW denominates the option of using four
LEDs in the primary colours red, green and
blue (RGB) plus one additional white LED (W)
to create an endless number of custom additive
colours. Mixing the various LED colours allows
the rendering of millions of spectral colours in
wavelengths between 450 and 620 nanometres.
The white LED impacts on the colour saturation
and creates soft pastel hues.
