In the late 60’s, a group of young architects
decided to produce the designs they needed
for their projects. Very soon many architects
and friends contacted them to buy their
products and in 1972 they decided to create
a company to produce them.
From the beginning, BD has strived to
combine the most unusual and modern
proposals with classic design pieces. Respect
for the masters is evident as much in the first
pieces of furniture from Gregotti as in the first
reissues of pieces signed by Terragni, Rietveld
and Mackintosh.
