St PaUl’S cathEDral
St. Paul’s Cathedral is the most important cathedral in London and
the mother church of the Diocese of the city. It sits on Ludgate Hill,
the highest point of the City of London. Thanks to the principal
dome at 365 feet high (111 m) this cathedral was the tallest building
in London from 1710 to 1962. Today, this dome is still among the
highest in the world. Facing this imposing building and the richness
of the gold ceilings, ‘Dome’ is a mirror in a bright polished brass.
